Treasures to find at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat

Last updated 13 August 2020

In these restrictive times I have been fortunate to be able to get out and explore places close to home.

A two hour drive from home is O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat They have been hosting guests from the late 1920’s when visitors would travel up Green Mountain to the secluded location via horse.

A century later, there is a sealed road into O’Reilly’s which given the number of hairpin turns still provides a sense of adventure.

I’ve been trying to teach myself how to edit photos taken on my Sony A7 III purchased just before the world went into turmoil with COVID 19.  I thought why not upskill?

Here’s a a few images snapped during my last visit at the beginning of August.  What a beautiful state I live in!
