I’ve lived in south east Queensland for the majority of my life and up until this year had only visited Moreton Island twice. Thanks to a few different stories I’ve worked on, I’ve been back three times in the space of three months and learnt so much about this fascinating island – only 37 kilometres from the mainland.
And to write a story with a 4WD angle was a load of fun. About what could be argued is the greatest rubbish run in Australia – published in this month’s edition of an on-line Australian 4WD Magazine called 4×4 Unsealed. The article even includes some of my video footage (a first for me – all shot on my trusty smart phone!) And shows off my amatuer photography skills as well (yep all photos are mine!)
